Calvin Johnson and Andrew Luck Headline the Fantasy Monsters of NFL Week 13

Megatron=36.10 fantasy points
   Calvin Johnson and Andrew Luck made their fantasy owners very happy today. Both had dominating performances as their teams faced off in Detroit. Johnson hooked up with QB Matthew Stafford for 13 receptions, 171 yards, and a touchdown. It was a close contest with Detroit leading for most of the game, but Andrew Luck found a way to pull out the win in the final seconds. Luck connected with wide receiver Donnie Avery for a 14 yard touchdown pass as time expired for the 35-33 victory. Megatron led the NFL with 36.10 fantasy points, but Luck was right behind him with 35.94 fantasy points in Yahoo traditional leagues. Luck threw for 391 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
Adrian Peterson= 29 fantasy points
   Bryce Brown had another dominating performance as the Eagles faced off against a Dallas team that is 8th in the league against the run.  Brown ran for 169 yards and 2 touchdowns, going over 30 fantasy points in standard leagues for the second week in a row.  Brown's only real issue is that he is prone to turnovers. His 4th quarter fumble vs. Dallas cost his team the Sunday night game. It will be interesting to see how the Eagles use him next week with the expected return of their feature back, LeSean McCoy. McCoy has been out with a concussion.  Adrian Peterson continued his fantastic comeback season today against Green Bay. Peterson had reconstructive surgery after blowing out his knee last season. It doesn't seem to have slowed him down a bit. Peterson broke loose for a career-long 82 yard touchdown run and finished the game with 210 yards rushing. Despite his efforts, the Vikings could not pull off the win vs. the Packers. Peterson got his owners 29 fantasy points in Yahoo standard leagues today.
   Oakland Raider Brandon Myers led all tight ends on sunday with 33 fantasy points in Yahoo standard leagues. Myers had 14 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown.  Myers has become a favorite target of QB Carson Palmer.
   The Houston Texans were the top scoring defense Sunday. Houston got their owners 23 fantasy points in Yahoo standard leagues, racking up 6 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries, and 3 interceptions.  The Texans, led by defensive end JJ Watt, are one of the NFL's elite defenses.
   Veteran Jason Hansen of the Detroit Lions was the highest fantasy scoring field goal kicker of the day.
