Monday Night Football- Fantasy Predictions Top 3 Over/Under

Monday Night Football is a great match up this week with a lot of fantasy impact.  Many championship hopes will be validated or crushed on the results of tonight's game.  Here are my predictions for some of the players who may bring you to victory or end your run in the fantasy playoffs in Yahoo standard leagues:

                                                               Over

QB Tom Brady
1. Tom Brady (projected 19.22 fantasy points)-  19 points is a pretty high projection to beat, but if anyone is up to it, it's Brady.  Brady will have to have a big game for the Patriots to come out on top of this one. Houston's secondary is a bit dinged up, even though it seems cornerback Jonathan Joseph will play.  New England will be pass heavy as usual, but probably even more so than the norm this year because of Houston's prowess against the run.

2. Owen Daniels (projected 10.48 fantasy points)-  New England is a good matchup for Daniels. They have given up the second most fantasy points to tight ends this season.  Schaub will probably have to throw the ball a little more than usual and the Patriots will be all over Andre Johnson.

3.Aaron Hernandez (projected 13.83 fantasy points)-  Hernandez has picked up were Gronk left off in the Patriots high powered offense.  Look for that to only continue this week vs. Houston.  Hernandez is the ideal red zone target for Brady vs. a Houston secondary that is vulnerable due to injuries.

                                                               Under

RB Stevan Ridley
1. Stevan Ridley (projected 12.51 fantasy points)- Tough matchup here for the Patriot running back.  Houston is extremely stout vs. the run, giving up the second fewest fantasy points to running backs this year.  It's probably easier to break into Fort Knox then it is for a running back to score on the Texans.

2. Brandon Lloyd (projected 13.48 fantasy points)- Lloyd has been pretty disappointing this year in New England. I don't see that changing much this week, even if he might get more targets because Edelman is out.

3. Houston Defense (projected 7.10 fantasy points)-  Tom Brady and the Patriots do not give up points to opposing defenses and special teams.  Houston's secondary has injury issues, look for Brady to take advantage of that.  This game will probably turn into a bit of a shootout.  Houston will have to get to Brady to be effective.

Good Luck to all whose playoff advancement depends on tonight's game!
